Hello people - just looking for some info on the Motorola GM300 radio and
how to adjust the RF power output on these. I believe the previous owner
had it programmed and setup for about 10W so it would be nice to put it back
to the standard. I can't see any reference to power output in the
programming software, unless I'm missing something!

Thanks for any help..

not that i can see there is no option in the software that controls the
power setting unless you have a different version that i am using.....
where abouts in your version does the power setting show up?

In the main menu press the F2 key for "service" when in the service menu
press "F2" ALIGMENT: Transmitter and Receiver,

I would suggest reading your radio first, then decoding the model number
from the batlabs site http://batlabs.com/gm300.html

you may find the radio is a 10 watt radio from the factory, and all you will
do by winding the TX up is "let the smoke out"

hope this helps. cheers Yobbo

first!!!

it is a 25w capable radio but it was lowered for some strange reason by
another owner......

need to go and make an optometrists appointment now - thank you for your
help i am rather red faced..........
